As part of a study abroad experience it is important that students be proactive with health related needs prior to departure as well as maintain wellness during and after the experience. This includes pre-departure medical care and immunizations; insurance and health care while abroad; and post-travel health recommendations. Special consideration is given to students with disabilities.
If you have any questions regarding travel health, safety or security, please contact Julie Friend, Travel Security Analyst, Office of Study Abroad, friendju@msu.edu or (517) 353-8920.
